The Northern Ireland Legal Quarterly has a new look and a new website!

We are delighted to announce that the NILQ has this week been relaunched with a new design for the journal itself and an updated more interactive website.

Of course, we have brought over all the best elements of our previous website – including our extensive online archive – but the website now also features

—an Advance page, bringing together all open access first articles

—a Most Read page, listing the top five articles viewed in the previous 12 months and

—full details of our new International Editorial Board.

Today, we have also published NILQ Vol. 72 No. 1. The journal features three open access first pieces:

Beyond trade: implementing the Ireland/Northern Ireland Protocol’s human rights and equalities provisions by Colin Murray and Clare Rice

The 'associative' discrimination fiction: part 1 by Michael Connolly

Villiers v Villiers: The end of the line? Case study of the Supreme Court decision reported at [2020] UKSC 30 by Mrs Justice Keegan

The journal is open to submissions of articles, commentaries and notes. Please see our submissions page for full details.

We also regularly publish special issues on important current legal themes. If you have an idea for a special issue, please contact the Chief Editor Dr Mark Flear.
